Maplewood Performing Arts Theater and Ashland Productions invites you to "Step Up To The Mic!" for their first ever talent competition.  Contestants will compete in one of two categories - Youth (ages 15 and under) or Adult (ages 16 and older). 

Judging will begin with a preliminary round in each category consisting of a one-minute acapella piece of the contestant's choice.  All contestants will receive feedback from members of the judging panel and up to fifteen finalists in each category will be invited back for a live finale performance at the Maplewood Performing Arts Center. 

Contestants will be competing for a grand prize package in each category.  Each Prize Package valued at over $4000.  Winners will be chosen based on a combined score from a panel of music industry professionals and audience vote.  Don't miss special guest performances each night!  Take advantage of this unique opportunity to take the stage, gain audience exposure, get valuable feedback from industry experts...and step up to the mic!
